2014 Walk to Cure Arthritis-Bismarck Honoree
Hailie, Age 17

"Basketball season had begun when Hailie Doll first began to experience pain in her ankles and knees. The pain was so intense that Hailie decided to go see a doctor. After many appointments and X-rays there were still no answers. But then the pain subsided.
Five months later, while on a family vacation, she began to have sharp pain in her right hip to the point where it was difficult to move. The next morning, her parents made the decision to go see a doctor. Hailie underwent more tests and procedures and it was then that she was given the diagnosis of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.
“There was a time that I thought I was never going to get better, or get any answers. But the one piece of advice I’d like to give to someone who is going through the same situation that I have; is to not give up hope. It may take longer than what you want, but the pain will ease up and things will be under control. Have faith and believe that things will turn out all right.” Join Hailie and her family at the Walk to Cure Arthritis-Bismarck/Mandan to show your support for the 1 in 5 adults and 300,000 children living with arthritis in the U.S.

Let's raise funds to find a cure for arthritis, then come together to support each other and walk!
